Haathi Mere Saathi, animal drama featuring Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat, Vishnu Vishal, Zoya Hussein and Kalki Koechlin, has completed its second schedule.
The Eros International’s movie is titled Kaadan in Tamil and Aranya in Telugu.
Helmed by Prabhu Solomon, the trilingual is being shot simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil with a different cast across languages, read a statement.
The movie highlights relationship between humans and animals is a story inspired by true events and a tribute to 1971 classic film Haathi Mere Saathi, starring Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja.
While Daggubati, Hussein and Koechlin feature in all the three language films, Samrat’s character will be played by South Indian actor Vishnu Vishal in the Tamil and Telugu versions, along with actor Raghu Babu. The music has been composed by Shantanu Moitra and sound designed by Resul Pookutty.
“The movie brings me back to one of my favourite subjects — elephants; and shooting with them along with my artists in the wild has been a fascinating adventure that we are very excited to share with the audience,” said Solomon.

The film is being shot extensively in Thailand and Kerala.
