On Sunday, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh posted a story with an endearing emoji for his wife, actor Deepika Padukone, from the Marrakech International Film Festival. Singh received the Etoile d’or Award at the film festival. The star put up a picture of him admiring his wife's picture on the wall of fame. From the looks of it, he's one proud partner.

The speculations started with an unverified tweet from an alleged movie reviewer claiming there's trouble in paradise gained traction. Several Indian media outlets also hinted that the couple were going through a rough patch. Attending a FICCI event the week that the tweets went viral, Ranveer Singh talked about celebrating ten years of being with Padukone. He said at the event, “Touchwood...We met and started dating in 2012... so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika.”

Putting an end to all the separation rumours, Padukone and Singh made their first joint appearance after a few months gap at an awards event on Thursday. They continued to react to each other’s posts on social media but were not pictured together in public until this event. As always, the two were dressed fashionably and complimented each other well. While Ranveer wore a snazzy black shimmering pants with red-dragon motif, his glamorous better-half wore an all-red power suit. The two are on a roll and out about town to convince everyone that all's well with their world.

A good influence: A few days after their 2018 wedding, Ranveer had spoken about Deepika in an interview and said he was excited to start a new phase in his life. He spoke about how life had changed for him since their wedding, and praised Deepika for her ‘good habits’, calling her a ‘good influence’ on an ‘undisciplined person’ like him. The duo first met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic drama film 'Goliyon ki raasleela: Ram Leela.'

Future projects: Meanwhile, talking about Deepika's future work, she will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Pathaan', which also stars John Abraham. The action drama is set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023. She will be also seen in 'The Intern' alongside Amitabh Bachchan and in a Pan-India film 'Proiect-K' along with south actor Prabhas.
