Blackpink’s Lisa reveals her go-to Karaoke song – Can you guess it?

When Blackpink’s Lisa posed with Taylor Swift backstage at one of her Eras Tour shows in Singapore last year and praised the American pop star in a gushing Instagram post, it wasn’t hard to deduce that the K-pop sensation was definitely a ‘Swiftie’. 

Lisa, currently in the spotlight for both her debut as an actress in Season 3 of The White Lotus, and the release of her first solo album, Alter Ego, recently revealed that her favourite karaoke song is one of Swift’s most popular hits. 

While speaking to Teen Vogue magazine in a video interview about ‘firsts’ alongside her White Lotus co-star Tayme Thapthimthong, Lisa was asked which song she would first put on at karaoke. She responded, “For me, I’ll go for Taylor Swift. You Belong With Me.” 

You Belong With Me is an award-winning early hit by Swift from her second studio album Fearless. 

Lisa was also quizzed about the first K-pop idol she looked up to. She shyly revealed her admiration for boy band BigBang, saying “I can’t pick one because I love them all.” 

Lisa’s debut album Alter Ego has received mixed reviews so far, with NME calling it “a flashy debut in search of deeper identity” and Rolling Stone praising her versatility.
