As Blinks — Blackpink's devoted fanbase — would say, there's so much to love about the band beyond their catchy music and stellar fashion. What truly resonates with fans is the sisterhood between Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rose. Blinks treasure every backstage interview, the playful moments during their Weverse Lives, and the unwavering support the members have for each other.

There’s much to celebrate for Blinks this year, as the band will reunite, with a tour in tow. Moreover, Rosé’s just-released solo album, a forthcoming album and a role on The White Lotus for Lisa and an acting gig on a forthcoming K-drama and a Dior campaign for Jisoo, just keeps adding to the feverish excitement. Recently, Jennie, who launched her own label last year, spoke about how much she misses the girls. “I’ve missed doing tours with them. I miss our silly moments,” Jennie told Billboard. “I’m excited to see what everyone brings. You know, everyone took their own journey [during] this time, and I’m excited to share that with the girls. I want to say it’s going to be the most powerful version of ourselves that anyone has seen.”

Jennie also spoke about her journey of self-love. She revealed that for much of her life, her career was all-consuming. After spending six years as a trainee at YG Entertainment — the longest among Blackpink’s members, including Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa — she had little time to focus on herself beyond her work.

“It’s a fight between me, myself, and I — I’m not easy to convince,” she said. “It’s not easy working with me.” While being part of Blackpink required Jennie to compromise and collaborate as part of a team, her solo project has pushed her to face her own desires head-on, without needing to negotiate with anyone else.
