Shaikh Zayed mosque offers varied programme

Abu Dhabi: The Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre (SZGMC) in Abu Dhabi has announced its 2011 summer programme which will include a wide range of courses to be delivered at the centre's library.

The programmes will run through July, and will cater to young people aged between 7 to 18. Registration will begin today. All courses will be held at the SZGMC headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

The programmes will include ‘Quran Memorisation' courses. Male participants will be divided into two groups, one for boys in the 7-13 age group, and another for those aged between 14 and 18. The centre will also hold two sessions for female participants which will also be divided according to age groups.

The programme itself will be delivered by specialists from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments. These tutors will assist the children in understanding the rules of reading and reciting the Quran.
