Mahaba Awards Festival, celebrates the different ways to express love PBUH
Abu Dhabi: The Mahaba Awards Festival was launched under the patronage of General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Sup-reme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and headed by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister.
The festival, which was held in Shati Al Raha on Thursday, was attended by Shaikh Thiab Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority, Shaikh Shakhbout Bin Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, a number of senior officials and dignitaries.
Dr Amal Al Qubaisi, member of the Federal National Council and member of the Award's Board of Trustees, said the festival celebrates the different artistic ways to express love of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Participants from 28 nations attended. The number of award categories has been increased to 10, including personality of the year, the best song, advertisement and TV documentary film.
