The top four finalists of Yasalam’s Emerging Talent Competition (ETC) have been named ahead of a November 22 finale in Abu Dhabi, where one winner will be crowned.

The finalists are Syrian singer-songwriter Ghaliaa, Emirati-Honduran singer-songwriter Fafa, Saudi Arabian rapper Molham and Lebanese singer-producer Jay Abo, who previously made it to the top three of the same competition in 2015.

The finalists were chosen from a shortlist of ten artists out of hundreds, who underwent four-weeks of training before the final foursome were picked.

ETC, which aims to champion and strengthen the local music scene, is currently in its fifth edition.

Its judging panel is made up of Mark Abou Jaoudeh from Anghami, Oliver Wood from electronic duo Hollaphonic, Reiner Erlings from Reiner Erlings Music and Rania Hamadeh from Universal Music Mena.

ETC is part of the entertainment activities that coincide with the yearly Abu Dhabi Grand Prix races. The winner will have the chance to perform during F1 season, as well as a studio recording session that will result in a release on Anghami.
