It's the season of remakes.
While Players, the Bollywood spin-off of The Italian Job, starring Abhishek Bachchan was disappointing, here's hoping that Agneepath (The Path of Fire), the remake of the 1990 Amitabh Bachchan classic will do a better job.
Slated to release on January 26, Agneepath is directed by Karan Malhotra and is billed as a homage to late Mukul S Anand, who directed the original.
The action drama stars Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan.
The film also features Priyanka Chopra as Kaali, Sanjay Dutt as the menacing Kancha Cheena and Rishi Kapoor as Rauf Lala. Here's a first look at the film.
