Staycation seekers can avail of up to 50% off dining, stays, and entertainment options
Dubai: No travel plans for the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays? Hotels in the UAE have got you covered. The long weekend needn’t be all about moping at home or doom scrolling through your social media accounts for pictures and videos of friends holidaying at exotic destinations.
With the Eid Al-Adha long weekend just around the corner, hotels across the UAE have rolled out a flurry of last-minute staycation deals to attract residents looking for a relaxing break.
The official announcement confirmed a four-day public and private sector holiday, commencing on Thursday, June 5, and extending until Sunday, June 8, with work resuming on Monday, June 9.
And hotels are prepared for the rush. Leva Hotel's manager, Thomas Kurian, said hotels expect bookings to spike up to 90 per cent closer to the Eid Holidays. “Last year, we experienced strong performance during Eid Al Adha, with average occupancy reaching close to 90 per cent over the holiday period,” he said.
“Much of that demand materialised closer to the Eid dates, and we anticipate a similar last-minute booking pattern this year. While it’s still early, especially given that May falls within the peak summer season, current early bookings of 25 per cent to 30 per cent are not yet reflective of the final outlook,” he said.
Given the popularity of staycations during the Eid holidays, hoteliers have said those planning a break are encouraged to book their preferred deals promptly to avoid disappointment.
