DWTC attracts more than 686,192 visitors in 2015

Dubai: The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) hosted over 87 non-trade events in 2015, and welcomed over 686,192 visitors, according to a statement on Tuesday.
The events included a mix of theatrical productions, music festivals, family entertainment, sporting events, among others.
In 2016 and beyond, the DWTC will continue to invest in home-grown events, further attract international event organisers from across Europe, Asia, and the US, as well as regional talent, said Ahmed Alkhaja, Senior Vice President — Venues, at DWTC, in the statement.
