Siemens opens MindSphere Application Centre in Dubai
MindSphere Application Centre part of efforts to expand its digital portfolio
Dubai: Siemens Postal, Parcel and Airport Logistics (SPPAL) has opened a new MindSphere Application Centre (MAC) in Dubai to expand its digital portfolio.
The centre aims to develop future-oriented analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for airports, airlines, cargo service providers and ground handlers.
It is part of the global network of a total of 20 centres for the digital customer applications of the Siemens group. The Dubai MAC is the first of two in the UAE, with the second to be built in Abu Dhabi. The two UAE MACs are part of a $500 million (Dh1.83 billion) investment Siemens is making over three years in the Middle East.
