Dubai: UAE residents and tourists will be treated to a 12-hour Super Sale across retail outlets in Dubai  tomorrow, Tuesday, with hundreds of shops set to offer up to 90 per cent off on merchandise

Between 25 per cent and 90 per cent discount on goods will be up for grabs at hundreds of shops in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me’aisem, City Centre Barsha and City Centre Al Shindagha.

The Super Sale marks the opening of the month-long Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), a regular fixture in Dubai’s retail calendar that features a host of activities, including sales, pop-up fashion shows, outdoor markets, fireworks and so much more.

The 12-hour sale starts from 12 pm to 12 midnight and the bargains will be on offer until stocks run out. Shoppers can expect to enjoy huge discounts on fashion, jewellery, homeware and electronics.

DSF is held every year and it’s considered the biggest shopping festival in the emirate that generates billions of dirhams in retail expenditures.

In 2011, shoppers spent a whopping Dh15.1 billion during the festival period, with some Dh5.9 billion generated from tourists.
