Product of the day: Touchmate launches thinnest 3G tablet

Dubai: Dubai-based Touchmate has launched the thinnest 3G tablet - Speedo - at Gitex. The 9.4-inch device is powered by 1.6GHz A9 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity. It runs on latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It is also the first tablet with 2GB RAM - normally tablets have 1GB RAM only.

Exclusive feature that Touchmate speedo can be connected wirelessly with smart TVs and users can enjoy all content of tablet wirelessly on TV such as movies, facebook, photos etc.

The 10-point touch device uses Super Sharp IPS capacitive screen. The thickness of the tablet is just 4mm..

The internal storage capacity can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD slot.  Touchmate also gives free 16GB microSD card. The device has a 5MP auto focus rear camera with led flash light and 2MP front facing camera.

Regarding ports, it has a microUSB, HDMI, Sim slot and also features WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity has and dual speakers in the front.

The tablet is priced at Dh1,499, but for Gitex it is priced at Dh1,299 plus buyers get a softcase, HDMI cable and 16GB microSD card for free.
