UAE-based executive conferred knighthood in Italy
Massimo Falcioni, head of credit insurer Coface, was granted knighthood by the Italian President
Dubai: UAE-based executive, Massimo Falcioni, who is the head of credit insurer Coface, has been granted knighthood by the Italian Ambassador for his contribution to the Italian economy.
Falcioni was conferred with the Knight of the Order by the Italian President, Sergio Mattarella.
“Massimo Falcioni is a highly respected professional in the UAE and this recognition comes as an appreciation of his great work and contribution to the Italian economy. The recognition also brings pride to over 10,000 Italians in the UAE, which attracts highly talented professionals from Italy and provides immense opportunities for business growth,” Liborio Stellino, Italian Ambassador to the UAE, said in a statement on Sunday.
With this, Falcioni joins the ranks of Mohammad Ahmad Bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Economy for Economic Affairs; and Judge Abdul Rahman Murad Al Balushi, Director of International Cooperation Department at the UAE Ministry of Justice; who were both awarded the Order of the Star of by the Italian President last year.
Falcioni, who is heading Coface in the Middle East for over three years, has a strong international experience in various senior management positions.
