Marka plans to open first restaurant with chef Heinz Beck in Feb 2015

Dubai: Marka said on Sunday it plans to open its first restaurant with the famous German chef Heinz Beck in February 2015, marking its entry into hospitality sector.

Taste of Italy by Heinz Beck will be Beck’s first casual restaurant concept and will be located on Al Wasl Road. Marka told Gulf News last week that the company is in talks to do some acquisitions in the hospitality sector and will make some announcements soon.

Dubai’s food and beverage industry has experienced exponential growth over the past few years, and is expected to continue.
