Foreign investors buy Dh1.156b worth of stocks on DFM
Dubai: The value of shares bought by or non-UAE nationals last week (November 2-6) reached Dh1.156 billion, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced on Saturday.
The investments accounted for 36.2 per cent of the value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh1.220 billion, or 38.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh64.3 million during the same period, as aggregate sell.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dh719.9 million, comprising 22.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh871.9 million, which constitutes 27.3 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
Net institutional investment on the market reached Dh152 million during the period, as aggregate sell.
