Ducab high voltage cable facility opened in Jebel Ali

Dubai: Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, opened Ducab’s high voltage cable facility in Jebel Ali Tuesday.

Also present was Shaikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.  

The Dh500m plant is a joint venture between Ducab (50 per cent), ADWEA (25 per cent) and DEWA (25 per cent). 

It will generate 130 jobs, with 25 percent emiratisation and 75 per cent of its production is expected to be exported to the GCC, Africa and Europe.
