DEDC appoints Al Awadi as CEO

Dubai: Under the directive of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of The Executive Council, Saeed Mohammad Al Awadi has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Export Development Corporation (DEDC).

Established in Dubai in 2006, DEDC is responsible for the development of the expanding sector in the UAE, opening new markets for export and encouraging local industries to increase investments.

"Saeed's in-depth local market expertise and knowledge equip him with the advantage to drive DEDC's growth initiatives forward. Combined with his proven leadership capabilities and ability to forge strong partnerships, we have every confidence Saed will propel DEDC's expansion strategies in line with our objectives," said Khalid Al Kassim, chairman of DEDC.
