Horizon University College (HUC) has been officially granted an institutional license by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), authorising it to operate in the field of higher education in the Emirate of Ajman.  

This license confirms that all rights and obligations, previously held by Skyline University College have been transferred to Horizon University College.

 HUC will focus on enhancing academic delivery, expanding student services, and providing an inspiring environment for learning, innovation, and research.

The new campus in Ajman, offers advanced infrastructure, modern classrooms, innovation labs, student lounges, and expanded recreational facilities. HUC is committed to adapting to the evolving needs of students and positioning itself at the forefront of regional and global academic excellence.

HUC will offer undergraduate programmes in Business, Computing, Information Technology, and Tourism & Hospitality Management. In addition, the institution is actively developing interdisciplinary programs and shortly introducing dual-degree collaborations with reputed partner institutions, aimed at providing students with expanded academic pathways and enhanced professional opportunities.

Students, faculty, and staff will begin the new academic year at the Ajman campus with full momentum, committed to delivering academic excellence, robust student support, and meaningful community engagement.

HUC’s comprehensive range of undergraduate programs, through its School of Business and School of Computing, cover emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, International Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Human Resources, with new programs soon launching in Tourism, Hospitality, and Events Management. Admissions for Fall 2025 are now open, encouraging students to become part of Horizon’s diverse academic community, with scholarships offered up to 75 per cent.

HUC aims to become a key contributor to the UAE’s Vision 2031 and Ajman Vision 2030, development goals through partnerships with government bodies, industry and community organisations.

As all rights and obligations previously held by Skyline University College have been transferred to Horizon University College, all prestigious accreditations, existing affiliations, and partnerships will continue uninterrupted.

·         Undergraduate programmes across both the schools are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA)-MOHESR

·         School of Computing programs have ABET accreditation.

·         School of Business is in pursuit of AACSB accreditation

·        Prestigious QAA UK Institutional accreditation in progress

·         A 4-star overall QS Star rating, with 5 stars in Academic Development, Teaching, Employability, and Facilities
