Abu Dhabi: Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi-based investment and development company, said on Sunday it is supporting the development of the next generation of Emirati scientists, engineers and technicians through its Aerospace, Communications Technology and Defence Services (ACTDS) business unit, by offering training and career opportunities for UAE nationals. Portfolio companies like Strata, Al Taif, Yahsat and AMMROC have already committed to the creation of 4,000 jobs. Mubadala stated the move will sit alongside the development of its research and development capabilities, with an annual spend of over $10 million on R&D projects by 2015 in the aerospace sector alone.
