French strike halts Etihad limo service

Airline says it expects the service ‘to resume soon’

Dubai: A nationwide taxi strike in France on Tuesday meant that Etihad Airways was unable to offer its usual chauffeur service in Paris to Business and First-Class passengers.

The airline said in a statement on Tuesday that the service was unavailable to premium guests travelling to and from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport because of the strike.

Etihad said did not say when it will start offering the service again other than it expects it “to resume soon.”
