Air Arabia, the Middle East's first and only low-fare airline, is expanding rapidly in the face of growing demand from its customer base.
To better service its customers, the airline is continuing recruitment across key areas of the business and the addition of the ninth group of cabin crew takes the total number to 92.
Air Arabia received its certification last year to conduct its own training for aircraft familiarisation, first aid, general procedures, in-flight emergencies and service techniques and now completes cabin crew training in-house.
Air Arabia's ninth group of cabin crew is a testament to the international environment of the company; the group of six consists of people from Syria, the Philippines, France, Morocco and Iran and they speak 11 languages among them.
Air Arabia's crew are a diverse group that hail from 29 countries and speak 34 languages, so no matter which continent the airline's customers are from there is a crew member who can speak their language.
The diversity of the crew's background will benefit the Air Arabia customer by providing excellent service gained in various industry backgrounds and customer service environments.
"As the number of our destinations continues to increase as well as our fleet of aircraft, this ability to train our cabin crew in-house becomes more and more important," said Adel Ali, Air Arabia's CEO.
"Not only do we ensure that cabin crew undergo intensive training in all safety aspects, but with the training by Air Arabia staff it gives meaning to hands-on experience: cabin crew get a real taste of the ultimate Air Arabia experience," he added.
Air Arabia has flown more than a million passengers throughout the region and neighbouring countries.
The next six months will see it offering more destinations.
