Adnoc plans 30 in-store Coffee Planets

Abu Dhabi: Adnoc Distribution will have Coffee Planet kiosks in 30 of its convenience stores offering self-serve coffee to customers.

The compnay said the move was significant for the commercial gourmet self-serve coffee market, which is expected to grow in line with the increased demand for fast quality consumer goods across the UAE.

To add to the number of services available at Adnoc Oasis convenience stores, each Coffee Planet kiosk will provide Italian-style cappuccino, espresso, cafe latte, Americano and hot chocolate in regular and large sizes.

The company said in a statement it was "delighted to have partnered with Coffee Planet to offer premium coffee at affordable prices to our clients."

"The partnership underlines our commitment to increasing the standard and quality of services for our customers. The new coffee kiosks will add value to each outlet, helping to build customer satisfaction and loyalty," it added. Coffee Planet specialises in the provision of turnkey coffee solutions to hotels, coffee shops, retail outlets, hospitals, offices, airports and universities.

The Coffee Planet portfolio includes the development and installation of kiosks and desktops of premium coffee brands Acorto and Fetco, together with the supply of One Shot drink flavourings and Union Coffee Roasters coffee beans.

Since launching in 2004, Coffee Planet has grown steadily with provision of coffee solutions to a number of high profile contracts including restaurants, universities, clubs and retail outlets.

Italian-style coffee, such as latte and cappuccino, will be available in Adnoc stores.
