Aznom Automotive, an Italian firm that has been in the business of customisation of production cars and manufacturing one-off vehicles since 2006, has announced an outlandish off-road-capable luxury saloon based on a pick-up truck.

Dubbed Aznom Palladium, the ‘hyper-limousine’ is said to have taken design inspiration from Italian architect Andrea Palladio’s mansions. But what we see is an eclectic mix of aesthetics borrowed from the Rolls-Royce Ghost and the Bentley Bentayga among others.

Based on a Ram 1500 pickup truck, the Palladium is powered by a 5.7 litre biturbo engine tuned to deliver 700bhp and 950Nm of torque.

While the design is polarising, the Palladium does have the proportions fit for an uber luxury limousine, being nearly 6 metres in length and 2 metres in height.

And with its non-conventional lines, it’s sure to turn heads on the road. The pull-out drawer style boot is definitely an additional quirk!

The cabin comes upholstered in a blend of bright and dark leather interspersed with wooden parts and solid aluminium accents.

A touch display controls the interior lights, air conditioning, on-board refrigerator as well as the opening and closing of all drawers and compartments.
