Mansory makes the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ even wilder with the Cabrera

Mansory, the aftermarket tuning and design company known for its extreme makeovers has turned its attentions to the limited Aventador SVJ and totally transformed the Lamborghini. Called the Cabrera. it gets new looks and has more power.

In case you did not know, the SVJ is exceptionally rare with the Italian carmaker only building 900. And out of those, just three will be turned into the Cabrera by Mansory...

The Cabrera is being built to mark Mansory's 30th anniversary this year. The name Cabrera is a breeding line of the Spanish fighting bull, similar to the names Miura and Gallardo.

It features a very distinct looking face what with a new set of LED headlights. Out go the chunky stock units for the new four-unit headlights that are slim and horizontal. Adjustments had to be made to the bonnet and front fascia to incorporate them....

It also has new air inlets on the front apron that are designed to improve radiator air flow and help improve downforce. The carbon fibre widebody kit, which adds 1.6in in width, continues with bulbous wheel arches, aerodynamic side skirts, and a rear "double diffuser."

Extra downforce comes from the huge angular rear wing, while the aggressively styled forged lightweight wheels - 20in at the front and 21in at the back - are wrapped in sticky Pirelli P Zero tyres.

The Cabrera features an upgraded 6.5-litre V12; the "normal" SVJ makes 759 horsepower but this one has 810! Mansory claims 0-100kph in 2.6 seconds...

The tuner has fitted it with a custom exhaust system too which flaunts four large tips. It's an obvious sign that this is not a stock car.

Inside, Mansory takes the Aventador's fighter-jet inspiration literally. The forged carbon fiber has "arrow-shaped decorative seams," that look awfully similar to stealth bombers.

Every part of the interior has been redone and refitted with upgraded materials, including the ceiling and door cards, which have a colourful accent spine.

That design is also mimicked with imprints in the seats and although Mansory doesn’t say how much the Cabrera will cost, we imagine it will be quite a lot more than the donor car's $517,700 price tag...
