Sutton Bespoke, a London-based retailer of high-end cars has announced a limited production run of luxurious vehicles based on the new-generation low-emissions ‘black cab’. The VIP Class LEVC taxi is aimed at those who want to travel discreetly about town in unrivalled comfort, says the coachbuilder.

Based on the electric range-extender LEVC TX, which is a familiar sight in London, the ultra-luxury project was started after a positive response on social media channels to the pilot vehicle, which was snapped up by a private customer in London.

The Sutton VIP Class LEVC taxi features a fully redesigned interior, with rear seats angled for comfort and trimmed in Sandalwood leather with Alcantara trim. Replacing the hard-wearing rubber flooring is high-quality thick-pile carpet, and hand-crafted wood veneers adorn the door trims.
