It appears the driver of a truck hauling a huge dump trailer saw Volvo’s latest commercial – and tried to better it with pretty incredible results.

As you may recall, the new Volvo advert shows four large trucks stacked on top of each other creating a huge tower and are seen driving in the dead of night through an electrical storm. Volvo Truck president Roger Alm is seen standing on top of them - and this menacing sight was recreated in the northwest Indiana when the dump trailer hit a freeway overpass, detached from the truck and ended up resting upright on the road.

The crash happened on northbound Interstate 65 in Crown Point but it is unclear exactly how the trailer ended up in such a perilous position. Trucks often hit overpasses and end up lodged under them - but rarely do their trailers disconnect and end up standing upright.

Indiana State Police confirmed there were no injuries. The bridge did not suffer significant damage either and following an examination it was deemed safe to use.
