Emirati director Ali F. Mostafa is making all the right moves if it's the bright lights of Hollywood he's after.
His first successful offering, City of Life, may have enjoyed a gala screening at last year's Dubai International Film Festival but now he has friends in high places and doesn't plan on keeping it a secret.
Director, producer, actor and star of Ali G and Brüno, Sacha Baron Cohen jetted to Dubai (well Abu Dhabi actually, and drove to Dubai) to meet with friend Mostafa over a fancy lunch at the DIFC restaurant Caramel.
"We're not doing a movie together," Mostafa said with a laugh when contacted by tabloid!, but didn't write off the fact there could be a few things in the pipeline.
"Who knows what may happen the future?"
