Al Jazira sign Siani

Abu Dhabi: Al Jazira have signed Cameroonian midfielder Sebastien Siani from Belgian side Antwerp.

The 31-year-old former Anderlecht, Brussels and Oostende player, joins 29-year-old Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante, who recently joined from Denmark’s Nordsjaelland, under Al Jazira’s new Dutch coach Marcel Keizer.

Al Jazira finished seventh in last season’s Arabian Gulf League under fellow Dutch coach Henk ten Cate.

Keizer now arrives to better that and still has two of four foreign player slots left to fill ahead of the new campaign.
