While fans wait for Fawad Khan’s next cinematic outing — a reboot of 1979’s cult Punjabi movie Maula Jutt — there is something to cheer about.
The heartthrob shall be seen in this year’s biggest blockbuster Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, which is slated for release on Eid Al Adha (in August). Khan recently joined a long list of star cameos that the film boasts already — Sara Loren, Omer Shahzad, Mehwish Hayat and so on.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Khan is making a special appearance in a film. He was earlier spotted in director Asim Raza’s Mahira-Khan-starrer Ho Mann Jahan (2016), in a three-minute scene that had nothing special about it.
Later that year, of course, his extended cameo in Bollywood’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil won many a heart on both sides of the Indo-Pak border. For the sake of this gorgeous man, with a charismatic screen presence, we hope that his part in JPNA 2 is good enough to meet the expectations of millions of his fans.
