Abu Dhabi: Social media users have circulated a breathtaking video clip in which a Saudi citizen is shown jumping on the back of a whale shark in Yanbu, a major Red Sea port in the Al Madinah Province of western Saudi Arabia.
The man, named Abu Badi’, was accompanied on a boat by some of his friends. He saw the whales swimming next to the boat andjumped on one of them and took a ride.
The whale shark is an endangered huge fish that is rare in the Red Sea.
The slow-swimming, 19-metre fish is a tourist attraction in some marine areas.
