Warning against claims about honey product

Dubai: Dubai Municipality has urged the public not to believe in unproven claims promoted by a honey product called Refwa Royal Powder. The Food Safety Department said the validity of the information about the product that has been promoted through the website of Refwa Trading Company LLC has not been proven, though the product has been registered with it. It said neither the company has provided any approved studies to support the claims nor the municipality has issued any approvals for them.
