Emirati man dies in fishing boat fire at Fujairah Port

Fujairah: An Emirati man has died following a fire that broke out on a fishing boat at Marbah Port in Fujairah, authorities confirmed on Friday.

The incident was reported on Thursday at 9:48pm when the police operations room received a call about the fire aboard the vessel.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found two Emirati citizens injured. Both were transported by the National Ambulance Service to a nearby hospital.

One of the individuals later succumbed to his injuries.The cause of the fire is under investigation by Fujairah Police.
