UAE's Anwar Gargash slams Iranian media

Dubai: Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Federal National Council Affairs took to Twitter on Sunday to criticise Iranian media for “promoting Muslim Brotherhood rumours.”

In a tweet on Sunday, he said: “The content published by Iranian media against the UAE relies on the material used in the Muslim Brotherhood’s media channels. They are all Brotherhood rumours being promoted by Tehran media.”

In another tweet, he said that the current escalation of the Iranian media against the UAE “is a predicted reaction to the unique nature of the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the UAE and the active role of the UAE in Yemen.”
