Mohammad Bin Zayed says martyrs took a heroic and courageous stand that will never be forgotten

Al Dhaid: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday offered condolences to the family of the martyr Sultan Mohammad Ali Al Ketbi, who died while performing his national duty in Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.
Shaikh Mohammad expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family, and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the martyr’s soul in Paradise and grant his family patience and solace for their loss.
Shaikh Mohammad said the martyr was an embodiment of courage and sacrifice, and was a living example of a fearless leader who, along with his brothers in the Arab coalition, took a heroic and courageous stand that will never be forgotten due to its significant and clear influence in restoring Yemeni land, identity and history.
Shaikh Mohammad expressed pride in Emiratis who protect the nation, and said they exemplify attributes of loyalty and sacrifice for the nation, aiding and helping their brothers, and defending righteousness.
Shaikh Mohammad stressed that the UAE is firm in its stand and principles to thwart any challenges or threats, and it will continue to thwart any threats that face the region alongside Saudi Arabia and other nations in the Arab coalition. He said the UAE will continue to play its role in restoring stability and security in Yemen and supporting its legitimate government in order to preserve the foundations of peace and security in the region.
Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied by Hussain Ebrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, and other Shaikhs and senior officials.
Al Ketbi family also received condolences from His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Also offering condolences were Dr Amal Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, and a delegation of senior officers from the Ministry of Defence.
