Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ordered a Dh100 million contribution to the Yemeni Government’s Higher Relief Committee.
Shaikh Mohammad’s order is in line with the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and aims to support Yemen and its people as a result of the coup against the legitimate government.
The UAE strives to support all efforts aiming at restoring security and stability in Yemen and alleviate the suffering of the people.
The relief committee was announced yesterday and is chaired by Khalid Al Bahah, Yemen’s Vice-President, to help alleviate the suffering of the people and provide relief and assistance to the needy.
