Dubai: Cloudy weather is in store for UAE residents, as strong winds and a rise in temperature is expected over the next two days.
The strong winds is also expected to bring in dust over exposed areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
On Wednesday, the NCM issued a cautionary message on Twitter, warning residents of strong northwesterly winds and rough sea, with winds of up to 38km/h in coastal areas, 36km/h in internal areas and up to 34km/h in the mountain region.

"Moderate to fresh winds in general causing blowing dust at times, especially the over exposed areas," said the NCM.
However, the strong winds are expected to reduce by Wednesday night.
The relative humidity will increase during the night and into Thursday early morning over some internal areas, with a chance of fog and mist formation.
The UAE’s Storm Centre posted an illustration of the foggy weather, with the caption: “Fog and mist is expect to form over the country because of progressive northwesterly winds over the Arabian Gulf, especially affecting Al Ain and internal areas.”

With temperatures ranging from 24 degrees Celsius during the day to nine degrees Celsius at night, the level of humidity is expected to peak at 95 per cent in coastal and internal areas, while the humidity in mountain areas will reach 80 per cent.
