Sharjah Ruler issues decree

Sharjah - His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday (Wednesday) issued an Emiri decree renewing the tenure of members of Sharjah’s Consultative Council.

Decree No 9 of 2013 stipulates the renewal of the tenure of the council members for a period of two years, starting from the date of the first ordinary session of the council’s eighth legislative chapter. The bylaws of the decree will be executed by all relevant bodies. The decree will come into effect from the date of its issuance and is to be published in the official gazette.
