Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received on Tuesday at his Paris residence Laurent Fabius, French Foreign Minister.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, was present.

Fabius welcomed Shaikh Mohammad, and stressed the deep and historic bilateral relations between UAE and France.

During the meeting, Shaikh Mohammad and Laurent Fabius discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, especially ways to develop relations in the field of tourism, economy, education, and culture.
The talks also touched upon a number of issues in the region, particularly the current situation in Syria.

Shaikh Mohammad then presented a copy of his book, My Vision, to Fabius.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, Mohammad Meer Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to France, and a number of French officials.
