2,060 cases from Smart Majlis classified as “accepted or viable”
Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has so far received 2,098 ideas and comments since His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Mohammad Bin Rashid Smart Majlis initiative in October.
This lot comprises 1,776 ideas and 322 comments, and about 2,060 cases (1,747 ideas and 313 comments) have been signed off and classified as accepted or viable.
Ahmad Mahboub, Director, Customer Service, RTA, said: “RTA attaches great attention to ideas and comments received since the launch of the Smart Majlis initiative as they contribute to realising our ultimate objective of making people happier in line with the third strategic goal of the RTA, and the direction of our government.”
He added: “RTA is closely monitoring the flow of ideas, developmental comments channelled through the Majlis, and a team examines all ideas, comments that have the potential of improving customer service. RTA spares no effort in communicating with clients, be it citizens, residents ... and visitors in Dubai in order to identify their needs and expectations and assess them, whether [they are] viable or not as they will be subjected to further scrutiny in order to refine, enrich them and make them capable of improving our services. It even goes an extra mile to draw up plans [about] their expectations and future aspirations [from] our services,” added Mahboub.
“The Mohammad Bin Rashid Smart Majlis has opened to us a broad spectrum of ideas and comments to which we assign top attention in order to realise the objectives of the initiative. The entire process will improve our government’s performance to the best global standards of serving customers and making people happier.”
