Dubai: Qatar Airways expanded into Turkey last week with the launch of direct flights from Doha to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.
The inaugural flight touched down on Thursday to mark the airlines 140th destination.
Qatar Airways will fly four times weekly to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen with a 144 seat two-class Airbus A320. It is the airlines third destination in the country. It also flies to Istanbul Ataturk Airport and Ankara.
