Al Ain: Weathermen expect a gradual fall in the daytime temperature Monday in the coastal areas of the western region and the islands.

And the The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) at Abu Dhabi has issued a warning to beachgoers to avoid going to beach today (Monday) due to a severely turbulent sea.

In a statement it said that sea waves height could reach to 6 feet, especially in Zerco and Arazna islands (in Abu Dhabi).

Wave height is expected to increase further later in the day.

Weather reports from around the world

The mercury will fall due to the convergence of clouds in these areas and the change of wind directions. The weather will be partly cloudy in general, but the amount of clouds is expected to increase at times over the western coasts, according to the forecast of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

The winds would be moderately rough inland. They may get stronger at times, blowing up dust and sand into the open land areas. Winds are likely to be stronger over the sea, making it moderate to rough.

Humidity will also increase in some interior areas at night and early in the morning.

With a fall of couple of degrees Monday, the temperatures are expected to remain between 18 to 36 degree Celsius in the coastal areas, 15c to 37c in the internal, and 15c to 27c in the mountainous areas.
