Dubai: Temperatures in the UAE may fall as the weekend draws to a close, with some areas outside the city likely to get readings of as low as 13 degrees Celsius, according to the latest weather forecast.

There will also be some fog or mist formations over some regions, while winds will tend to blow sand and dust over exposed areas from 9am Wednesday through 9am the next day.

Overall, the weather will be fair to partly cloudy, although residents can expect conditions to turn hazy at times and humidity levels to increase at night and early morning.

According to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), temperatures will range between 13 and 19 degrees Celsius in the mountains, 14 and 20 degrees in internal areas, and 15 and 21 degrees across coastal regions.

“Temperatures tend to decrease [from Wednesday to Thursday],” the latest weather bulletin states.

Fresh northwesterly winds are expected to make the seas rough with waves as high as seven feet.

“The relative humidity will increase by night and early morning over some internal areas, with a probability of fog/ mist formation. [The] sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to becoming rough at times in Oman sea.”

The same weather conditions may continue on Friday.
