Dubai: The month of July is a scorcher, and to prove it, UAE residents have gone back to posting innovative ways to show how hot it is.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) on Tuesday said that the temperature will reach as high as 47C in coastal areas and 49C in internal areas, with 90 per cent and 80 per cent level of humidity respectively.

A recent video circulating on social networking sites shows hot it can be at peak temperatures in the UAE.

The video, uploaded by @fatafeatchannel on Instagram, reveals a  man cooking an egg under the sun with no tools other than a frying pan.

While the pan was lying out under the sun for 10 minutes, the cook shows viewers how he is still able to cook an egg under one minute.

According to the NCMS, the weather until Thursday is expected to remain very hot weather in general, with partly cloudy and hazy skies at times.

“Amount of clouds will increase over southern and eastern areas, which may bring some clouds by the afternoon and may be associated with rain fall at times,” said the NCMS.

Residents have also been advised to expect dust and sand to blow over exposed areas, with humidity to increase at night and into the morning over some coastal areas.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

This is not the first time that residents have been able to fry an egg in the scorching heat.

In 2014, Gulf News first carried out the test with successful results.
