NCM has advised motorists to take precautions while driving, visibility is expected to be less than 1,000 meters at times over some coastal and internal areas from 1am until 10am on Friday morning.
On Thursday, NCM posted videos on its Instagram account of heavy morning fog affecting roads in Abu Dhabi along with several warnings of fog formation in various parts of the UAE.
These conditions will continue into Friday, with a slight rise in temperatures expected. On Saturday, the amount of clouds is expected to increase along with another rise in temperatures. Light to moderate winds will offer some relief throughout the weekend.
The start of next week will bring in humid nights and mornings over the western coast, with slightly hazy conditions as northeasterly and southeasterly winds are expected to blow up dust. Some clouds are expected to appear in the eastern parts of the UAE by Sunday afternoon and temperatures will continue to rise.
On Monday, you can expect your day to be slightly warm and hazy as well, but the night is forecast to offer some relief, with ‘fair’ conditions forecast by the NCM.
