"It is usual for this time of the year," says the forecaster, about the unsettled weather, which is due to a low depression over the area.

The cloud cover will stay until end of the weekend and there are chances of rain and thunderstorms, said the weatherman.

The 64 km/h (35 knot) winds will kick up dust and could reduce visibility in some places down to 3,000 meters.

The National Centre for Metereology and Seismoloy (NCMS) in Abu Dhabi has also put out a 'yellow' warning and advises people to be aware of the sudden changes in weather when outdoors. It said that humidity will be high at 99 per cent at times.
