Dubai: Forecasters say there are chances of heavy showers over some areas and light rain over Fujairah and Jebel Jais on Monday, while the rest of the country will either be partially cloudy or dusty.

According to the weather bulletin of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), fresh to strong winds will blow, causing dusty conditions over Abu Dhabi city and the Western Region, namely Mukhariz, Owtaid, Mezeira, Al Ain and Sweihan. Sharjah’s Al Dhaid will be dusty, too.

But the winds will also cause a significant drop in temperature from today’s 16 degrees Celsius to 25C to 14C to 22C across the country, especially toward the west such as Sila, Mukhariz, and Owtaid that will have a minimum of 8C and maximum of 19C.

Dubai will be windy with high clouds and temperatures of between 19C and 25C.

The waves will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf reaching 3 feet to 5 feet or 6 feet onshore, while offshore they could reach 10 feet to 12 feet, and a maximum of 15 feet. The Oman Sea will be rough.
