Al Ain: Weather forecasters predict overcast and rainy conditions on the first and second days of Eid Al Adha.

"We are expecting a cold front over the Gulf region that may cause scattered rain and thunder activity in the UAE as well," said a duty forecaster.

People who are planning outdoor activities during the holidays have been cautioned not to go deep into the desert or mountains.

Motorists are advised to be careful while driving during wet and windy weather.

Partly cloudy

According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the weather will be partly cloudy for the next three to four days. Winds are expected to be light to moderately rough on the day of Eid. The sea is also expected to be moderately rough.

The weather is also expected to be partly cloudy today. Winds are, however, expected to kick up dust and sand in some areas. An increase in humidity is also likely by tomorrow morning, especially in western areas.

Temperatures will remain between 21C and 33C on the coast.
