Dubai: The UAE will have mild weather perfect for the outdoors over the next two days as the country celebrates its 45th founding anniversary on Friday.

“The weather will be pleasant over the next two days. The sea [Arabian Gulf] will be very nice for everybody — especially for those who are planning any activities on Thursday and Friday,” a forecaster from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), told Gulf News.

Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the country will be mostly sunny on Thursday and Friday with temperatures of 27 degree Celsius to 30C in coastal areas and 29C to 32C in interior areas.

But it will be sticky by Friday evening as humidity levels are expected to increase reaching 90 to 96 per cent along the coast from Ras Al Khaimah to Abu Dhabi. Al Ruwais, however, will have 100 per cent humidity levels.

Due to the increase in humidity levels, motorists are being warned to exercise caution on Thursday evening until early morning on Friday as fog may form, especially in internal areas from Abu Dhabi to Mezaira and Abu Dhabi to Al Ain.

By Saturday night, the Arabian Gulf will be rough due to the northwesterly wind.
