Dubai: The UAE will experience partly cloudy and hazy weather at certain times in the coming few days, according to the weather bureau.

“The forecast shows that some low clouds will develop over some eastern areas by the afternoons,” an official from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said.

“The relative humidity will increase by night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas,” he said. “The waves will also be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.”

Temperatures are reported to reach a high of 45 degrees Celsius along coastal areas and a low of 29 degrees. Internal areas will be slightly warmer during the day, reaching highs of 48 degrees. Mountainous areas will enjoy cooler weather with highs of 30 to 37 degrees and lows of 25 degrees.

Humidity along coastal areas is estimated to reach highs of anywhere between 60 and 90 per cent and lows of 20 to 45 per cent. Internal areas will have highs ranging between 55 and 90 per cent and lows between five and 25 per cent.

According to the NCMS official, the weather is unlikely to change in the next two days.

“Our forecast shows that the weather conditions will remain as they are tomorrow and the day after,” he said, “so we’re still looking at partly cloudy and hazy weather at certain times over some areas.”
